Some of the features and buildings that were surrounding it are the Lighthouse of Alexandria, the Temple of Artemis, the Statue of Zeus, the Mediterranean Sea, the Black Sea, the Tigris River, and the Euphrates River. Some of the surrounding cities were Alexandria, Jerusalem, Olympia, Knossos, Troy, and Sparta.
